Hello,

     I am new to Bioneers, and to gardening/ urban farming, and I was just wondering where I should start, because I have only a rudimentary understanding of growing food for subsistence. If anybody can help me out with information about soil development I would really appreciate it. I saw a program about a Bioneers conference this year, and there was a scientist talking about fungi, and mycelium in particular. He was talking about how it is the foundation upon which all life rests, and I found it absolutely fascinating. He also mentioned using fungi to transform wood chips into top soil. I have a small woodchip pile to work with. How can I do this myself? Thank you for your help, and I hope to be able to provide assistance to anybody here in any way I can in the future.
