Youth vs. Apocalypse at the Youth Climate Strike, March 2019

Welcome Climate Activists!

Are you involved in a youth-led climate justice work and looking to build deeper relationships with youth from different organizations and regions?

Are you hoping to cultivate practices for personal and collective resilience to inform and support your work?

Bioneers invites you to join a cohort of national youth climate justice activists in a one-day training on October 17th, 2019 from 10am – 5pm in Oakland, CA. This will be a space to weave relationships with other youth involved in climate justice to catalyze more intersectional solidarity and interdependence across youth-led movements.

The purpose of the program is to strengthen and support youth climate justice activism at the individual, interpersonal and movement levels by developing personal resilience skills, cultivating relationships and trust among individuals, and working together to reimagine pathways towards a more inclusive climate justice movement.

We invite youth climate leaders to participate in co-creating a safe, brave, fertile space to stretch into trust and harvest the collective wisdom that you all have to offer.

There is no charge to participate and lunch will be served. Attending the training also entitles you to a scholarship to the 3-day Bioneers Conference where there will be interactive workshops and open spaces where youth can further connect with one another in addition to exploring new ideas, tools and strategies on an array of environmental and social justice topics, including a powerful lineup of climate action presentations and workshops.

The event will be in a location accessible by BART. If you need additional assistance in accessing the event please mark that in your application.
