Proposal:
Use KOA campsites as a model to create a living space for people.
People could rent a site on a daily, weekly or monthly or yearly basis.
Car Camps USA - a viable community utilizing sustainable practices.
CUSTOMER BASE Potential customers include:
People who need a place to live in the range of $150-$200.00 per month.
Single people who have more than one job and do not need an apartment because they are never there.
People who earn a minimum wage and cannot afford the amount of rent needed to have an apartment.
People who are living in their cars anyway.
What does Car Camps USA offer as a place to live? Community living using sustainable practices. Low maintenance on for your living space. Locked space for your stuff and a secure sleeping environment. For $10-15 per night, people have access to kitchens and clean bathrooms. A garden for fresh food at low cost. A private place to talk on your cell phone, watch a small TV, relax in your own space for a fraction of the cost of an apartment. A sense of belonging could be fostered at the Car Camp through art on the walls, a central area that residents can gather. Opportunities for work for rent, gardening, community meetings. What does Car Camps USA offer the community?
A new paradigm for living in a sustainable way. A community center for the residents that can provide a large cooking area, fresh food from the community garden. Use low water usage practices.
PAY-AS-YOU-GO technology to pay for showers, laundry, water usage.
Toilets can be compost, waterless toilets.
Compost used to fertilize community garden.
Best practice: Camps are sustainable and not using city power, sewage or water supplies.
Creating a living space within the USA that can provide a model for sustainable practices in home usage of resources. SUV RECYCLING
Donated SUV and Van vehicles can create the permanant base camp units.
As gas prices rise and new technology enters the market for transportation, what will happen to all those nice vehicles that are not carbon efficient.
It seems a shame to crush all those nice interiors and electric systems just for the scrap steel. RE-USE car structure for small housing units.

Provide security to residents.
Manage compost and garden.
Small shop on premises to provide supplies for the camp.
Manage shop for propane, bedding, etc.

TEMPORARY AND PERMANANT CAMP SITES
Permanant sites are recycled SUV's that are mounted on platforms.
Temporary sites are in seperate area where you can drive your car up and park for the night. You could hook up to the
PAY-AS-YOU-GO electricity system for your needs during the night.
