Living Filtration System – Biomimicry Design Challenge | Ray of Hope Prize Finalist

Alison Lewis and Casey Howard with Team Penthouse Protozoa in Eugene, USA discusses the “Living Filtration System ” – a project finalist in the Biomimicry Global Design Challenge. The Living Filtration System is biomimetic drainage system that keeps nutrients in the soil rather than leaving the field in runoff. It’s an alternative designed to serve as a catalyst for changing current farming techniques.

Team Penthouse Protozoa is one of the seven finalists for the $100,000 Ray C. Anderson Prize, to be awarded at the 2016 Bioneers Conference.
